As a personal passion project, I reimagined Newcastle United's third kit with a Sam Fender-inspired twist to celebrate the musician's homecoming performances at St James' Park in 2025.
Drawing inspiration from Fender's 2018 track Spice, taken from his Dead Boys EP, I set out to create a unique crossover between football and music, incorporating subtle references to the artist while retaining the character of the original shirt.
Through a meticulous process, I carefully removed the existing sponsors and replaced them with custom vinyl applications that reflected the concept. The front-of-shirt Sela sponsorship was reworked to read 'Spice', while the Noon sleeve sponsor became 'Toon Toon', a playful nod to Newcastle's identity.
To complete the design, I introduced a bespoke magpie motif on the back of the neck, paying homage to the artwork from the Dead Boys EP.
